In Occupied Poland... The Nazis liquidated the Jewish ghetto in Dunilowicze, Poland. They herded the Jews into a large barn and proceeded to murder all 888 men, women, and children.
Homer, I love your daily WWII summaries. I was expecting a huge banner headline on 11/20 or 11/21 about Operation Uranus by the Soviets, the encirclement of Stalingrad. But the news reports reveal very little other than rumors of “strong Russian forces.” I can understand why the Nazis would have downplayed it but it’s curious why the Russians were not blasting the news to the world.
