He denies bringing the situation upon himself by turning down multiple job offers, saying that as a trained and experienced occupational therapist, it would be unthinkable to work in a badly paid, unskilled job.
Oh heck, during one unemployment stint I delivered pizzas for Dominos. If it weren't for the free pizza I received, I probably would have about broken even, given the lousy tippers, cost of gas and lousy compensation (sub-minimum plus 50 cents per trip), and I don't regret it.

Come to America... you can sit on your butt and collect more money than you ever imagined. And it’s going to get better and better... for a while.
Oh, wait, German? Likely a white person? Forget it, get in line if you want to come here.

To the critics who have labelled him a parasite, Boes said I asked them what they think of bankers; whether they too are not parasites?![](http://www.thelocal.de/articleImages/46251.jpg)

If only we could promote this with Hollywood and MTV!
“Dude, I’m not going to accept any more welfare until you bring the system up to my standards! I’ll starve first!”
Welfare would end in about three months.
And I’m pretty certain they lack the necessary critical thinking skills to reason that its a trick.

‘Slave wages’?
So, it’s OK for everyone who IS STILL working to have more taken from THEM to support HIM, when he is able to work?
Talk about ‘slavery’

and where does this “basic income” come from you moron?
If everyone gets money from the government, everyone has to pay for it too.

He turned down shifts at a call center for 7 ($8.96) an hour, calling it slave labor,
Some of the best jobs I've held were call-center jobs.

Me thinks that since this guy is so opposed to doing something difficult and painful like
working that he will find starving difficult and painful as well. So he will likely punk out on the hunger strike. I work in a prison and see hunger strikes threatened literally all the time. Average length of hunger strike: the time between one meal being served and the next one.

He turned down shifts at a call center for 7 ($8.96) an hour, calling it slave labor, while a job in the office of a temping agency would make Boes what he called a slave master, both of which were, morally, not options for him. Instead, he wants an unconditional basic income paid by the government for everyone.
So he wants to be the master holding the whip and not the slave being whipped? Well, isn't that special.
In Atlas Shrugged, John Galt's energy producing machine wasn't powered by atmospheric static electricity but rather by Ayn Rand spinning in her grave from stories like this one.
