Glenn "aka George III" Beck declares secession ridiculous.
In reality, secession may be too difficult to accomplish at any time soon, but this is a perfect high profile topic, that even the MSM, has picked up on.. Much to their surprise, the movement is a tremendous reflection of how deep the disgust is in a major, and wide spread number of voters feel..
If we can turn this into a Kissin Cousin of the Tea Party, with a more diverse segment of the National community, and serve as a blunt tool to beat the administration with its overreach..
We need to file in every state, excluding the strong leftist strongholds.. With careful planning, it can develop into serious movement, with folks that have been alienated by the Tea Party smearing in the MSM..
Lets face it, the media, has spent all of their efforts to discriminate against the TP, with associating it with Evangelicals, that far too many feel are extremist..
We must protect this movement from ridicule, by stating that it isn’t so much of a wacko idea but a true reaction of the fear, and loathing of Marxism, and Socialist.. Deflect the attention to policies, and spending, and not the actual action of secession, and promote it’s growth..
Glenn is under what I call the spell of the “Lincoln Fairy Tale”. Glenn almost gets it but not quite. The republic means your state has to be willing, or have the option to vote on it, to go its own way or it is not really a republic.
There was a time when I considered Beck a valued asset for the country but, as time passed, he has become more of an grade B actor.
I refer to the times when our country has faced calamities. Beck begins his show with a somber monologue and with a quivering voice, long pauses and tearful predictions of gloom for the country then, without missing a beat launches into...AND NOW A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR GOLD-R-US.
Anyone who has the ability to snap out of abject depression to a upbeat manic mode that fast, is either acting or has mental problems.

I have no problem with what you said. Then fine, don't sign. I couldn't care less. Having said that, the concept of secession is a serious matter and should never be ridiculed.
We have the right to freedom and independence from this evil communist obama and its regime in DC. Beck can join Chris Christie as all they care about is money and imo are democrats in hiding.

Join it, promote it, and protect it, and BTW, a vote on a ballot could really happen in a state like Texas, and raise the profile even further.. Anything is possible.. jus sayin.. :)

Glenn (and Rush and Sean will do this too) has to poo-pooh the idea of secession because his sponsors will not tolerate anything else. Sponsors are very timid. Expouse something as controversial as secession, and they’ll jump ship like rats. Sad.
