Since the copper thieves hit, I’ve had a 24/7 security camera/DVR running.
Doesn’t matter if we’re home or not, he hits that window sill like a freight train full of knives.
Before I leave, I tell him “Watch the house. Guard the girls.”
He ~seems~ to understand I’m leaving in charge because he’ll station himself at the end of the sofa nearest the window and lay there with one ear cocked while I’m gone.
I’ve seen him on the videos, occasionally pacing the room acting agitated and then fiercely charging the window.
On the outside cam, it’s usually delivery people or the loon on the ridge, driving up the lane.
Depends on the dog, of course. You’ve got some goodies.
