“I dont quite understand this, hasnt he been subpoenaed to testify?”
He could be called to testify but without the documentation etc that he now no longer has access to. So, he can sit in front of the panel and answer questions from memory or just act like mickey the dunce.

I think the pending testimony of Petraeus and other witnesses in the Benghazi hearing is “voluntary.” If Petraeus declines to testify the committee simply subpoenas him and compels him to appear.

I doubt that he will. petraeus has a very shady past...or he would never have been invited into the inner sanctum of infinite evil in the first place. Of his many sins, infidelity is the most respectable.

Does anyone here at FR really believe anything will come out of the Benghazi incident? This will disappear in the coming weeks when the “Fiscal Cliff” BS will be front and center for the remainder of the year ... (along with stories about the evil Repubs don’t want the middle class to keep their tax breaks).
Count on it.
Its over folks.
Same goes for Fast and Furious ... no more will be said of it.

So lets get this straight...
1. Hillary assembles a group of lawyers to advise her regarding her association to the Benghazi attack.
2. She goes to SA and says that “the buck stops with her” and she was responsible.
3. Bill Clinton campaigns hard for Obama in closing days.
4. Petreaus resigns.
5. Hillary resigns.
6. Holder to resign.
One gets the idea that Petreaus was told to resign or else, but I don’t understand in the case of Holder why he cannot be compelled to testify on Fast & Furious.
Petreaus, who probably knows the full story, is returning to civilian life, but what leverage does Obama have on him?
Hillary too, will not have to testify, but would she leave office with the Libya thing over her?

I was wondering what the resignation achieved. Was thinking Obama just wanted him to go, and he had to do it in a way that pointed away from Benghazi. If this is true, then I assume they've scrubbed all the physical evidence. I read that the communists in the WH are now claiming that there were no assets within reach of Benghazi during the attack. So did they scrub all that now, because Panetta said before that it was too risky. If there were no assets, why did he bother to say it was too risky. They're all liars. To bad we don't have a free press. We now have Putin.

Obviously blackmailed by Obama so he could not testify under oath. Another notch in the gun belt of the Chicago mafia.

And if he's subpoenaed by a House Committee...?

I doubt that Obama will last another 6 months. Something is really really off with this guy.
Speaking of off. Anyone see Boehner’s little speech today? I watched him and he is extremely unlikable. He needs to go and go now. The man is not a leader and uninspiring. To me he is what is wrong with the Republican party. Not only was he short on form he was garbage on substance. We need people that can communicate, not pontificate. The guy is an orange golfing tool!

Come on folks, typical Chicago Mob. The CIA is what leaked all the inside emails, He is getting fired over it. End of story. The fix is in. Anyone remember Vince Foster or Ron Brown, that's what happens when you cross the insiders too much.
