The numbers don’t matter now.

Obama got his reelection, so he can just ignore them for the next 4 years.

Then, assuming we still have elections, he can pass the situation on to the next president.

Late january at the latest.

Between now and and bout the 15th of December they will be announced in order to increase the value of outstanding stock.

I already told the kids dont expect much. Not that we cant afford it, but the future is unsure. Told them to start putting aside as much as possible. It’s going to get ugly.

24m ... that is the number of unemployed we all heard about

140m ... the number of people filing tax returns (ie: the working people of America)

24m / 140m == 17.1 %

the percentage of the working population unemployed

24m / (140m + 24m) == 14.6 %

the lowest possible unemployment number

Why wouldn’t unemployed people have to file a tax return? Unemployment compensation is federally taxable.

What was that company that waited to announce layoffs until after the election because Obama promised to pay their fines for failing to obey the law?
