I called Comcast last night and cancelled my cable TV. When the young lady on the phone asked me why I was cancelling it I explained that we just had a change in our financial situation. I told her that my wife and I both work full time and because we have good paying jobs we are now going to have have to pay higher taxes as we are for some reason considered the enemy. I went on to explain that we have fixed expenses such as a mortgage and car payments that we cannot cut. With 4 kids who are rapidly approaching their college years we do not have disposal income. This was just the start as I have to begin preparing now for the reality of the next 4 years.
What I didn't tell the young lady was that there is an added benefit of this change as I will no nonger be sending my hard earned money to to the owner of the hate filled network MSNBC. Any company that allows the lies and distortions to flow night after night from their hosts needs to hear from their customers. The news coverage from NBC over the last few months was incrediably biased with the hosts continually singing the praises of the President while ignoring the deteriorating economy, the scandal in Libya and Obama's Katrina. Nothing new but this time in my own small way I will adjust for our unfortunate economic reality and at the same time hopefuly do my part to send a message to Comcast that a significant portion of this country does not agree with the hate and lies that constantly flow from the NBC properties.
The rest are, childrens movies (disney) I like musicals...what can I say.
However your point is, I have a few (a dozen) from after the 80’s that were made.

That’s the ONE! FoxNews without having to support all the liberal Hollywood garbage. Thanks Jet - great link.
With Comcast, we were paying about $43/mo. for internet only. It wasn’t the fastest option they offered, but was OK.
This morning I cut the cable. Bye, bye Comcrap.
Thank you for the come back. My cable and internet costs me $109.02 per month and its the bottom of the line cable and not the fastest internet connection altho I can’t see how it could improve (internet). I’ll have to contact them to see what internet alone will be.
