After the auto unions supported bammy, would you ever consider buying a car from the Big Three again?

Ford is still a major employer of degenerate union thugs who did grievous harm to your children yesterday. Do what you think is right. As for me, I will only buy from benign companies who do not employ union thugs intent on screwing my children. I see lots of japanese cars in my future.

All I’ve ever owned is a Chevy pickup, The one I drive now is a 2006.
All I’ve every purchased for my business, is a Chevy pickup.

2006, was my last purchase. Never Again.

My Son is real happy with his Toyota Tundra

Absolutely not. Even Ford employs UAW members. Let them sell their crap to Bulgaria.

Are there any motor companies who employ American workers but who didn’t get any scratch from the American taxpayer?

I owned old, used GM cars years ago. When I was 40, my first new car was a Volkswagen Golf. I’m 65 now, and have only had two new cars since then, and they’ve both been Nissans. I’m hoping I die before I have to buy another car.

I have a Honda Odyssey and a GMC Envoy Denali.

Guess which one's made in America?

The Honda Odyssey, made in Alabama.

The GMC Envoy is made in Canada.

Far as I'm concerned, I'll not buy another UAW product - ever again. Period. Up to the Honda Odyssey, all my cars have been American "branded" (GMC, Ford, and one or two Dodge's.)

From this point forward, if it's not built by Honda or Toyota in a non-UAW factory in this country, I'll buy something from over-seas. To HELL with the Unions.

Timely, ealgeone. Just talked to my family today about this very thing. I own a paid-for Hyundai and am in market for different vehicle. I have been saying I would buy only American made, but after yesterday, I'm admiring a pretty little KIA SUV with AWD.

I will NEVER buy another union made in America vehicle. NEVER!!!

Both Honda and Toyota build certain models in this country in NON-UAW factories. The Honda Odyssey and Accord are built in the U.S. (Not sure about the Civic.)

The Toyota Corolla and Camry are built in the U.S. also in NON-UAW factories. Can't speak to Toyota's other models.

Sorry, but they are assembled here, but made in Japan. And the profits go back to Japan.

Just to be clear.

It is unlikely that I will ever buy a new car again.

Too expensive to start with, too quickly devalued.

So, no.

The only one I would consider at all is Ford. My wife and I have been noodling on how to determine which businesses are freedom loving and getting a directory together for those of us who feel betrayed by the libs. For one, the UAW on their web site shows all the companies and products which use UAW labor. We need to buy from the competition instead. For instance - not only the big 3 automakers are UAW, but Mitsubishi is as well. Any other automaker should be fine.

But we’re just brainstorming on how, both on the national and local level, we could do something similar to Angie’s List, but oriented toward those who are freedom-loving. Any ideas welcome...

Screw Unions.

They are Socialist-Communists and they produce inferior goods and vote for POSs like Obama.

I prefer Toyota and Honda.

Only Ford. I won't buy foreign either.

Brilliant. So you will pay the enemy within to hurt your family and your neighbor's family and all the rest of us, at the expense of a neutral ally waiting patiently to help the country out of its ditch. Brilliant.

When was the last time an auto union supported a Republican
presidential candidate? BTW are the clerks and meat cutters at
your market of choice represented by unions. I am not trying to
be provocative or insulting. I’m just pointing out the bigger
picture.
