Things dont look good for Romney, as of this writing. His path to victory is narrow, and the results are not breaking in his favor. All this news flies in the face of the obvious signs of the past two weeks, that Romney was clearly winning, that Obama knew it, as did all the insiders. The huge rallies for the challenger easily dwarfed Obamas. Romney and Ryan were confident on the stump, Obama and Biden strident and error prone. Polling showed dissatisfaction with the countrys direction, and Obamas alleged charm had even worn off women. The all important independent vote was now in Romneys camp, and by a large margin. The polls all had Romney ahead by large margins, or even. Republican pollsters were confident, Democrats defensive.
If all this was true, then what went wrong? Or, if nothing went wrong, then has this election been stolen?
How about photos of the people lined up to vote? Would that we could compare their votes to what the final tabulation was.
It’s more than that. in his scribblings, he would likeus all back in section 8 housing, with his apparatchiks and goons running them! ever see what goes on in a NYC or Chicago housing project?
Yes, that’s a given, as is Illinois.
I may get slammed for this, maybe he should win it...
This country maybe so broke he will be the metaphorical Dennis Kozlowski playing the Enron Shell Game as it come crashing down around him.,...
Is This Election Being Stolen? No the electorate is really this stupid.
He needs some high cholesterol food..
“I live in New Jersey, and yes, Christie did go overboard with his praise of Obama. But, seriously, if all that was needed was a hug by a fat guy to get voters to overlook four years of awful economic news, serious scandals, ineffectual foreign policy and all the other wonderful things we know and love about Barack hussein Obama, then we were already very close to becoming Greece. Now we are there.”
I think it was much more than Christie. I think the fear of the hurricane dropped much of the opposition to big government. People wanted a government that would protect them when they are down because they are not even thinking of becoming successful after they’ve just lost everything.
It’s the same feeling after the 2008 crash.

I don't plan to continue making this possible much longer.
The full quote is:
It is enough that the people know there was an election.
The people who cast the votes decide nothing.
The people who count the votes decide everything.
I don't plan to continue making this possible much longer.
Maybe the 47 percent of takers and more coming have taken over the country for good. You and I both know that if Obama is re-elected, that 47
Percent will only grow. So, in that respect, I don’t think Americans are stupid, quite the opposite. They vote for the party that gives them the freebies.
Forget it. The American electorate has sold out.
This.
As one of the guys on Fox said, If Dukakas had ran with this electorate he would have won handily.
The US as envisioned by our founding fathers is over, even if Romney wins tonight. It should not have been close.
The cavalier attitude of the fox talking heads is sickening. They think they are calling a college basketball game. This is the world’s future just demonstrating for all to see just how much trouble it is in.
The one they called Liz was the only one that seemed to understand what this means for our, and the worlds future.
Whites v. Browns.
Men v. Women.
I’m less sure what’s happened in the midwest.
What happened is that a far left, anti-colonialist, Marxist was victorious over a pro-business moderate conservative.
It wasn't by any measure a repudiation of socialism.
And BTW do I think the storm changed 35 million votes? No.
And that is not what I said. Do I believe if changed the ever changing mind of a couple percent of independent voters. Who can’t decide until the last minute who to vote for. I do.
The cliff approaches.
Amen. What they don't understand is the whole "killing the golden goose" thing. It seemed to take Greece, Spain, Portugal and the rest somewhat by surprise.
Our voting system is simply an exercise to assuage citizens with the falsehood that their votes actually mean something. It is agitprop. For those of us who listened to our Senators who rejected SB2678 and all signed SR511 in 2008, it was clear that with either McCain or Obama we were electing an ineligible man to office. That they didn’t care showed that we were clearly not a representative republic any longer.
For those who believed the media, every US Senator save John McCain, since he was the object of the resolution, signed agreement with Judge Michael Chertoff: My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen, Chertoff replied. That is mine, too, said Leahy. SR511 was to provide cover for McCain, who would not be challenged by Democrats as long as no Republicn confirmed the truth of Chertoff’s statement. The sponsors for both McCain actions, SB2678 and AR511 were Obama’s campaign committee members, includin Obama himself, who told us all he was born to a non-citizen father. We have earned the price we will pay. Too bad it may bring down Israel and much of Europe as well. Elections are a meaningless charade.
America is like an alcoholic. We are going to have to hit rock bottom before people wake up.
I agree. Just like ancient Rome.
