I said much the same words this morning to my wife. "I've waited four years to vote this piece of sh*t out of office" along with "I'll be damn'ed if I'm his tax slave anymore!"
Are we related?
In spirit if nothing else.
The words to “Coward of the County” keep coming to me as I think of the last 4 years when we’ve been told the only way to stem the abuse of power is through the ballot box. I fight for the love of my country, for the rule of law and everything that has made America great, and my children’s future, just like Tommy fought for Becky, ‘cause sometimes you gotta fight when you’re an American:
Twenty years of crawlin’ was bottled up inside him.
He wasn’t holdin’ nothin’ back; he let ‘em have it all.
When Tommy left the barroom not a Gatlin boy was standin’.
He said, “This one’s for Becky,” as he watched the last one fall.
And I heard him say,
“I promised you, Dad, not to do the things you done.
I’ve walked away from trouble when I can.
Now please don’t think I’m weak, I didn’t turn the other cheek,
And Papa, I sure hope you understand:
Sometimes you gotta fight when you’re a man.”
LET’S ROLL!
