It’s only 7 weeks old but I tasted my Ed Wort’s Apfelwine tonight and I’ll be drinking it during the vote.
Tastes like a Liebfraumilch. But potent, haven’t even finished the glass yet and my ears are warm...
What is your ABV? 7 to 8%? I think my next step is to make a 5 gallon batch using that Ed Wort recipe and do about a 6 month aging before bottling. A longer wait is supposed to really mellow out the alcohol rocket fuel taste.
