If he was impeached after he left office he could be compelled to testify, and he would not be able to claim executive privilege on any of the government records.

You keep using the word “impeached.” I don’t think you understand what it means.

The penalty is removal from office. If the person is not in the office, you can’t impeach him.

Impeachment is not going to happen.
