If we could get him charged of convicted. And I think what Obama has done goes beyond anything we’ve seen. I don’t think it’s right for us to let him get away with it.
If there were enough people in Congress who wanted to take away President Ryan’s pension they could always do it through a law anyway - I guess. Impeachment isn’t law enforcement; it’s to determine what position, honors, or privileges a person can have from the United States. As the AIG executives discovered, if Congress wants to take away bonuses, they can always impose a tax rate of 99% on bonuses. Don’t we currently have a “pay czar” to determine who can earn how much - and I think that’s not just about pay from the federal government.
