Personally, I think Halloween Trick or Treating should be for children 12 and under only.
Once they hit 13, they should be forced to hand the candy out.
When I was a kid, trick or treating was for elementary kids and younger.
You wouldn’t be caught dead trick or treating if you were jr. high or older. It was for KIDS.
I think it is better that way.
