Apparently, a small percentage of users don’t sanitize the bags regularly, thus paving the way for replication of microorganisms.

Don’t blame the users for not having common sense. It’s the manufacturer’s fault for not including the directions for proper use and hygiene written on each bag. *Someone* was supposed to tell them that the bags needed to be washed and dried from time to time, but didn’t do so. (sarc if not obvious).

Oh, I realize that, but my point is that proper hygiene, even if produce and food packaging come into contact with microbes, can prevent ingestion of such.
