Not exactly SciFi, but ...

I watched Mockingbird Lane, supposed to be a reboot of the old TV commedy, The Munsters.

It was horrible. It was like a script in search of something. It tried to be comedic, but it wasn’t funny. It tried to be weird, but the special effects just turned out to be gross. It tried to be serious drama, but it was too silly to be taken seriously.

Completely agree. I usually like more comedy in my comedies. It was boring, predictable, dull and NOT funny.

I might've watched it until I realized it was a failed pilot -- so bad thy couldn't air it originally. And the Munsters isn't something that needs to be updated. It was the definition of situation comedy, and they don't do that stuff anymore.

Besides, the remade the Munsters about 20 years ago. It didnt take.
