I don't think God's political...He's moral....

And neither God nor man will stop Mother Nature from her work. There is no judgement on the matter.

God often has intervened in Nature’s work, i.e. parting the sea, calming the storm while on the boat, winds that brought the quail as meat for the Israelites, hail and brimstone on Soddom...etc.. The mastery of God over nature is axiomatic for Christians and Jews. There is no doubt Sandy is God’s permitted will.

Bravo. From a sermon from my pastor in the wake of a comment on the Xenia 1974 tornado (”Look what God did to Xenia”):

“God created nature but He does not control it. Nature follows it’s own rules.”
