Oh my dear Perdogg, I was overwhelmed to see that you had posted this thread and I thank you and our lovely Meg for alerting me. I did not expect this.
For those who do not know, my oldest daughter has been ill for sometime and spent the past two months in a Houston hospital on dialysis. Everything went downhill from then on and other organs began to fail and she passed away yesterday. I arrived home in my city last evening and am in a state of shock and just unable to reply right now to all the kindness I see in posts here.
I promise all of you that I will thank each of you for posting when I feel up to it. All of you have filled my heart with comfort and I thank you.
No one expects personal replies (((dear one)))..Just take care of you and yours . You will remain in our thoughts and prayers.God be with you.
Prayers for you and the soul of your daughter, Potlatch, I can’t imagine losing a child. God hold and keep you, dear.

A few months was not long to prepare as you watched her slip away. I have no words of comfort to offer other than those that emanate from God. Dear Potlatch, I am so sorry for this painful loss of your daughter.
This familiar Scripture comes to mind in such situations and brings comfort.
2 Corinthians 5:8 “Sorrow not as them who have no hope, for we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord.”
