McCarver called him Pandoval.
Whenever I listen to McCarver, I feel like he’s Joe Bite-Me with a slight Southern drawl.
The only way to get through Timmy and Joey and their endless drivel is to take a drink every time either one corrects himself. I hope I can make it through the 3rd inning, however.

yes! all i heard today was, “how are the Giants gonna get passed Verlander?” well, they did—even Barry Zito... he wasn’t so scary afterall! i know there are a lot of naysayers here on FR because the Giants represent San Francisco... even though i don’t agree with the City’s politics, i love that city and i love this ball club!
i love Kruk and Kuip...i wish they did the broadcast...

I think the Tigers went in a little cool but it looked like they were starting to get the cobwebs dusted off late.
Ahem there are others in the 3 homers in a world series game club. Jackson and Pujols once and Ruth did it twice so this was the 5th time it has happened.

Plenty of others are capable of multiple home runs in a post season came. Jhonny Peralta hit 2 in the final game against the Yankees. Cabrera and Fielder are both capable of doing it and they occasionally hit back to back homers.
