I didn't notice this before but if you zoom in on Obama's ear, it looks like it was edited.
The ear hole is a funny shape and the color around it looks like it was retouched...

But seriously, I don't think that line is a scar. I have seen these lines on other people with close-cropped hair.
I'm not a physiologist, but my guess is that such lines are formed during fetal development, and have more to do with skull plates or genetically-determined hair growth patterns.

Note from the top picture the shape of the ear canal opening is an extended ovoid (football like) form consistent with a hearing aid as it’s shape uses dynamic tension of the opening to hold it in place rather than a hook or other conveyance to do so. In the second picture set in your post the other ear is shown and in mos if not all humans the body us symmetrical in all aspects. The ear canal opening on the other side is not that same as the initial picture but more in the shape of a chevron but definitely the same as the one at the top of the thread.
Note as well the ear canal element in the top picture is darker than the lower ones as the device is colored so as to give the visual perception of peering into the canal as a darkened hole entering the skull and having no light in it. The lower ones clearly show the consistent coloration of the ear as well as the shape of the ear around the ear canal not being the same extended ovoid shape as the one posted on Drudge and shown in this thread. Last watch again (if you can stand it) and note his body posture is crouched and to me would facilitate with his large ears a more shaded lighting aspect in most shots covering up the presence of the device.

JMHO he is wearing a small in ear device for him to be able to receive prompting and info.

That looks like a cover over his ear to hide something behind it. There are a number of devices that are completely in the carnal of the ear.
That picture definitely looks weird. Somebody has tampered with it for some reason.
