I just had to post a thread about a screening I saw this morning for Hating Breitbart. It was an extremely emotional ride to take and made you realize with every single frame in the film just how important Andrew was and how much he is missed.
You can't help but well up with tears in your eyes for this man who we should be putting up next to this nation's greatest icon's on a daily basis.
I find it hard to think of a man who did more for the Conservative movement and truth and fairness in the media than Andrew.
When he died suddenly earlier this year it was like losing a brother that wasn't related to me. I had met him on a few occasions and for years had done what he had done without the machine in my pocket to have an empire that he built off his time with Drudge.

When I walked out of the theater (about 35 people there for a 11:45 showing), I looked up into the Texas sky and thanked Andrew for all he did and for God giving him to us to show the way.
It is a downright BRILLIANT film and needs to be seen by every Conservative who was inspired by him during his life.

So are you going to tell us about the screening or is this just a commercial?
I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie ever since Breitbart announced it. I never had the honor of meeting him personally but I cried for days after he died. I realized the implications of his untimely death and I mourned as though he was a dear friend. He was a valiant man and we miss him.
The movie was an inspiration to us all. The media is incompetent and biased and have sadly abandoned their Constitutional right to Freedom of the Press. Breitbart challenged us to take up our cameras in order to reveal the truth and to expose the hypocrisy of the media.

What would you like to know about it? It was a tremendously personal look inside of how he ran his life on a daily basis. Interviews with everyone from both sides of the media spectrum who flat out called him every name in the book to people he worked with on a daily basis. Orson Bean who was father in-law to Andrew along with the actress who was the mother on Wonder Years who Bean is married to were shown heavily in the film.
Tons of footage with Andrew in hotels and at rallies while doing interviews via the phone. One of the best scenes is a 6 minute part of the film when he was having a crew from Nightline follow him and they sandbagged him and he knew it was happening at the moment it was happening.
Andrew is just blunt as blunt can be in the film. There are no images or videos of his wife and kids and no mention of his death until the screen goes dark after the Weiner story is picked apart and destroyed in a typical Breitbart presentation.

I also felt a connection to Andrew and his death still saddens me. When I heard the awful news, I thought “they killed him” immediately. I think he was poisoned at the bar he was at before he dropped to the sidewalk.
We lost a great American who contributed heart and soul to the conservative movement. His potential was unlimited. His loss is dearly felt with sadness, and I feel for his family left behind without him.
Same here with all you said. I first saw Andrew on Red Eye, he had longer hair back then, but I liked him from the getgo.
RIP Andrew, you are so missed.
Ditto what you said. He was such an inspiration and left us way too soon. Sometimes I wonder what a difference he might have made during these elections.
Not to mention how the coroner who did his autopsy died a few weeks later when the release of his toxicology results were coming out.
I happened to see his CPAC speech on CSPAN live last spring. No one imagined he’d soon be gone. After his sudden death I found the speech online.
