Go Wildcats!
Go Wildcats!
EMAW!!!!
Alabama’s highest ranked opponent so far this year is Michigan at 22. Kansas State, on the other hand, has beaten the BCS 8th ranked team and the BCS 19th ranked team on their home fields. I think that maybe ‘Bama is resting on its laurels.
Every Man A Wildcat !
After beating Colorado 50-6, the USC Trojans are headed for Tucson this weekend.
Fight on and kick the kitties!
The SEC is the Obama of the NCAA. No matter what they do, the media will root for them.
The more Oregon wins the farther down in the rankings it gets. Anti West Coast bias? Alabama’s schedule is the weakest of the lot.
KSU barely edged Oregon for the #3 spot. Based on the schedule, Oregon will be in the BCS Championship game if they go undefeated. If that happens, the only way KSU gets in is if they go undefeated, and both Alabama and Florida lose a game.
For you Notre Dame lovers and haters, OU and USC will crush ND.
While ND is much improved, speed kills; and ND doesn’t have nearly enough to stay with OU or USC.
Y'all come play down here...your tune will change;^)
BCS poll doesn't mean that much at this point in the season, it will play itself out.
Bama/Gators should meet in the SEC final..both undefeated going in. Loser is likely done. Even if it's an incredibly close game, say decided by a last second FG, or by a disputed play, there is almost no way that the voters, unlike the computers, will vote for a rematch again.
K-State has great wins, against top ranked opponents, ON THE ROAD. But their best body of work is behind them. Remaining schedule isn't tat strong.
If, IF Ducks win out...that means in upcoming weeks they will beat Stanford, OSU, and Southern Cal TWICE..
In that case, Ducks will play Bama/Gators winner for the title.
K-State gets screwed.
Oh, did you think I forgot ND? Not too worry, Sooners will end that story line next week...OU has an outside chance at playing for the title, if 2-3 of the undefeated teams ahead somehow stumble. But to put themselves into the picture as the 1 loss team that deserves a title game slot, they will need a BIG STATEMENT GAME.. and ND is the target. Sooners have to, want to, win this one big..
Assume that K-State and OU both end up with one loss. Since K-State beat OU, ( and on the road) you have to give the voters in the two human polls a BIG reason to jump them ahead in the polls.
Either FL or AL will lose a game. They will play each other in the SEC championship.
Especially ESPN.
Yeah, and I guess the media is the reason the SEC has won six consecutive NCAA titles?
Also, the ND QB Golston is going to finally cost them a game.
Go undefeated and then we'll talk about it.
And, actually, you're wrong about that. The media picked USC as pre-season #1 and the favorite to win the national championship. Then when USC lost to Stanford, the media had a brief courtship with Florida State, until they lost. The media has been actively trying to find a #1 team and NCAA champion not from the SEC. But so far, their efforts have been a failure.
