Show me passages from the Book of Mormon laying out a DUTY of Mormons to kill or enslave any who refuse to convert, and then we'll talk.

Sorry; but the BoM contains nearly NOTHING that finds it's way into MormonISM's vast amount of rules and regulations.

How about a nice verse from D&C 98?

Right around verse 31, I think:


Nevertheless, thine enemy is in thine hands; and if thou rewardest him according to his works thou art justified; if he has sought thy life, and thy life is endangered by him, thine enemy is in thine hands and thou art justified.

Sounds like an archaic wording of the "Stand Your Ground" law.

All it's saying is that you are allowed to respond against someone who has demonstrated an intent to kill you. So?
