Woke up this morning to find my Romney/Ryan yard sign stolen from my front yard. Checked on a house a few blocks down and theirs was gone too. Happened between midnight and 6 AM.

Whatever you do, don’t make yourself liable by rigging the sign. Instead, add a note to your new sign:

“Team Obama stole my last sign”.

Rub poison ivy all over them, then plant razor blades in them

That's actually a good idea. I got loads of poison ivy.

my Romney/Ryan yard sign stolen

Romney has lots of signs, just put them up again, and again if necessary.

Put pine tar on the edges.
The perps will have a grand time trying to clean their hands.

If you really want to be nasty, mash and soak the poison ivy leaves in vegetable oil and then paint the edges of the signs with the oil. Use lots and lots of leaves and just a little of the oil. Wear nitrile gloves, and whatever you do don’t let any of the leaves or oil or anything else they contact touch you or anything else that isn’t going to be wrapped up and thrown away. Treat the whole operation as if you’re dealing with toxic nuclear waste. Use throwaway tools for the mashing and painting. I’d even use a throw-away dust mask. My guess is any unused oil extract will store indefinitely for future use, unless you want to throw away ALL evidence right away, in which case don’t use your own trash can.

I would damned sure put up a new sign and hide in the bushes for a while.
