Marvin Zindler, the original “Slime in the Ice Machine!” restaurant inspection reporter! I miss his reports.
If he ate at a particular restaurant or awarded his trademark Zindler Award to a restaurant, you knew it was a clean establishment.

I used to watch Marv on Houston TV.
I don't think anyone quite forgave him for the Chicken Ranch expose... Lord knows there were enough whore houses in the area, like the one in the motel, run by a sheriff of a local county.
