Sounds boring to me. Flip-flops can be dangerous, particularly if the aircraft is in rough air.

In the olden days when flight attendants were all obviously females we had to learn to walk gracefully up and down the aisle in very high heels and shorter very tight skirt even when flying through a lot of turbulence. Some of us also learned, however, that there is no way to exit via the emergency chute in this type of attire though.

You don’t really fly in turbulence on private. There is more leeway to fly over it, under it and around it.

I only had turbulence once and that was coming into to Fagstaff, AZ. You ride the crest of the mountain as you come in and there’s not muchyyou’re gonna do about it.
