West Virginia looks a whole lot less intimidating after that beating Texas Tech laid on them. And Texas is on a course to give up more yards this year than any other team in the university's history. Oklahoma is a good team, and K-State went down to Norman and beat them on their home field. The Wildcats are for real. They may not have as much talent as some schools, but they are better disciplined, better coached, and the believe in themselves. I think their number 4 ranking is well earned.
Nobody does less with more than Texas, what a disgrace, Mack should be gone. Just like with Auburn, catch lighting in a bottle at QB, then nothing after they leave.
Bill Snyder is the most underrated coach in the country. Unlike other coaches at his age that became nothing but figureheads.
West Virginia is capable of putting up 50 points on anybody. They’re that scary on offense and Texas Tech did an outstanding job of grabbing the early momentum and forcing the Mountaineers into desperation mode.
Kansas St. slew the giant they needed to and, in honesty, beating Texas is like child’s play for Snyder. But West Virginia will be a stiff challenge and the Big XII has enough schools like Tech, TCU and Oklahoma St. that can spring an upset at any time. The Wildcats have the inside track to the title (and no championship game) but they still have a lot left to do. Other than Kansas, the league has no pushovers anymore.
