So far I’ve only seen two instances of blatant democrat influence on the show. The first is racist Merle who doesn’t like democrats. The other was the nursing home where the kindly Hispanics were the only ones who stuck around to help the old folks in the nursing home after all the gringos ran away.
Love the show and have to agree.... the nursing home scenario was so overdone and ridiculous! What, they all have guns pointed at each others’ heads and the grandma just walks right up like she was clueless and they all put their weapons down? Too stereotypical. The only good part in that whole episode is when they are surprised to see Glenn because they thought Guillermo had fed him to the dogs... only for Glenn to point out the little chihuahas sitting in a dog bed LOL.
I have a Cold Steel brand defensive bat and there would be brains everywhere after a hit from that - really heavy on the hitting area.
There were a couple more. At the start of the pilot episode, when Rick and Shane were together in the cop car, Shane related a girlfriend's angst about global warming.
Lori is---or was----against the death penalty.
Jenner, the CDC doctor, exclaimed that it was silly for the world to depend on fossil fuels. And the French---the French!---were the heroes of the world, who stuck it out doing research into the cause of the zombie plague after everyone else had ditched it, LOL.
I just figure anything made in Hollywood is going to be stamped with the liberal mindset.
