An orphaned puppy and abandoned kitten who were put together at a rescue centre have become so close - they think they are sisters.
Kitty the cat was brought into Battersea Cats and Dogs Home by a kind-hearted member of the public who found her alone in a garden when she was just one day old.
To keep her company she was put together with Buttons the Jack Russell, who was born at the centre but rejected by her mother as the runt of the litter.
She said: 'Normally wed hand rear puppies and kittens separately but we thought we could try putting them together as they are both so young.
'Luckily its paid off as they adore being with each other and do everything together - its really very sweet.'
-snip-
Kitty and Buttons were put together when they were about two weeks old and treat each other like siblings.

What can you do - female drivers. ;^)
Adorable!
Oh yeah.
LOL! The video shows that the puppy wants to play and the kitten just wants the puppy to leave her alone! Typical!

My cat and dog love one another too. When she was a kitten she’d climb in his doggy bed and sleep cuddled up next to him and still as an adult cat she loves all over him. Both are rescue animals.
130lb German Shepherd cuddles with his adoptive mom and dad, previously known as the house cats.
Poor humans, warily eyeing the new world order!
Sibling rivalry.
Awww! Got pix?
I would LOVE to see pix of that!

Terriers are not cat friendly so it's not really necessary for these to to be adopted together. When that JR get’s older he won't be as nice to the kitty, even though they were raised together.
I had a Jack Russell Terrier for 17 years, and she got on just fine with my cats - one regarded her as her mama, and one regularly tried to groom her. The JRT would break up squabbles between the cats if she thought they were getting too rough. Buttons and Kitty will be fine.
Aw.that’s good to hear. Well then I hope they will both find a great home together.
I’m sure they will. Who could resist that pair?
I would take them in a second. I just hope the new owners get screened very well because it takes a ton of patience to raise a puppy and kitten at the same time.
Mine are treated like my kids. :D
