Susan Estrich was part of the Dukakis detritus that washed up on the beach in the wake of Hurricane Mike, since downgraded to a New England blowhard. She was a local Massachusetts pest, but her management of the supremely competent and well oiled Dukakis campaign machine gave her the exposure that vaulted her into national prominence as a sideshow exhibit. I mean, the self righteous demeanor, the gravely voice, the spittle flecked incoherence! Fox viewers just eat that stuff up! She’s a caricature of a female Massachusetts liberal (home grown!) unsurpassed by carpet baggers like Warren and Shillary.
