Never discount the Chicago Alinskyites and their Soros-funded allies.

Debate traffic is my guess.

It was cause by huge numbers of FReepers donating to the Freepathon.

Well, honestly.. “last night was the a DOS Attack”...
No, last night “was the a” against you specifically.
Nobody likes you and you “was the a” ought to just bail out.

Asked and answered....
And see JR's reply.

I think that as well...I had the same problem accessing FR during the 1st Presidential Debate.

It never ceases to surprise me that people see a busy website, know the website is busy, and wonder if it's a DOS attack.

No, no. The servers are already bought and paid for.
Installing them? THAT’s a whole new subject.

a) An intelligible headline can often make all the difference in readership.
b) Yes, for whatever reason, the board was glacially slow last night.
c) Mash here for last night's post re the situation, from Jim.

My FR seemed to be out for a while and I tried other sites and found them working then after an hour FR worked. I would like to know more if anyone knows.

I noticed for “peak times” like debates and elections, the server here is slow. No big deal.
To: US Navy Vet
It was cause by some video Jim up loaded on You Tube. ;-)

Debate traffic is my guess. That was my guess. It was slow, but my posts got through--which probably wouldn't have happened in a DOS attack.
