Huge eyeball from unknown creature washes ashore on Florida beach
By David Fleshler, Sun Sentinel
October 11, 2012
A giant eyeball from a mysterious sea creature washed ashore Wednesday in Pompano Beach.
No one knows what species the huge eyeball came from, but whatever it is, it has blue eyes and has to be big enough to have eyeballs bigger than softballs. Among the possibilities being discussed are a giant squid, some other large fish or a whale or other large marine mammal.
A man spotted the eyeball Wednesday and reported it to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
"He was walking along the beach and found it and thought it looked like something cool," said Carli Segelson, spokeswoman for the commission.

Reminds me of the talk between the two ARMINUS brothers in the book I, CLAUDIUS. where one of them is wearing an eye patch.
Bro 1: Looks like you lost an eye.
Bro 2: Yep. You seen it anywhere?

Andrew Zimmerman would eat it. Actually he did. In one show he caught a tuna on a fishing line and ATE the eyeball.

So, a woman gives birth and as she is recovering she asks the doctor how her baby is.
“Well Ihgave some good news and bad news” the doctor says.
“Give me the good news first” she says.
“Well, you just gave birth to a healthy 8 pound eyeball.”
“OMG, what’s the bad news?”
“It’s blind!”
Bada bing. That’s my favorite most disgusting joke.
