I find all this deeply disturbing.

I never really had much time for Jimmy Saville. I only occasionally watched any of his shows. If these allegations are true, and the mounting evidence looks pretty damning, then its all very disgusting and he should certainly have been punished for his abuse.

However, I also find it pretty reprehensible that these allegations are being made now, when he is safely dead and cannot defend himself. The alleged crimes are horrible, but that doesnt take away from his right to be innocent until proven guilty, or to trial by jury, not journalist.
