> This wasn’t a hate crime.
Then it musta been a love crime.
I doubt this story as women don’t fart...they don’t keep their mouths closed long enough to build up pressure.
It was a farticuffs
Must have been a MOAF (mother of all farts.
I’m not sure where I stand on this one. If you are being teased mercilessly, do you have any right at all to strike back physically? Or do verbal bullies get a free pass?
This news article was posted in a thread yesterday but was deleted. Let’s see how long this one lasts!
I’ve tried to find more information on this, but the reporting is really bad.
For one thing, it’s not clear that she was beaten up by the girl she was teasing. At least one story said she was beaten up by “classmates”, although only one person was arrested.
And this statement from another article is disturbing, and shows a crassness in the culture that is likely the cause of a lot of our physical assaults these days:
“’At the end of my driveway, it’s some kids fighting, and it’s adults there watching ... it’s adults, grown-ups there watching them fight,’ the caller reported.
Eventually, Miss Dorsey’s step-father broke up the battle. The teen paced back and forth on the grassy lawn before collapsing.”
What kind of culture is it where the adults sit around and watch girls fight? Do these girls remind Obama of his daughters? How are we supposed to react?
I can guarantee you that if this was a story out of West Virginia, and it was “white trash”, that’s all we’d here about. On the other hand, how many people watch “Jersey Shore”? How many are watching Honey Boo Boo?
I used to laugh when I watched the movie “Idiocracy”. But now I feel I’m living it.
We had (distant) relatives from Finland stay with us a few years ago and they sat around farting - even leaning over to fart - like it was nothing. They couldn’t figure out why we were all grimacing and chuckling and waving our hands in front of our faces.
Maybe the farting girl is from Finland.
This is a whole new level of ‘silent but deadly.’
