Recently went to one in Virginia. Absolutely awful. Literally nothing edible. First and last time time I'll ever go to one. Most restaurants these days are barely treading water. It's even worse for buffets. I'm sure the quality has steadily deteriorated.

I'm sorry but the Ponderosa in South Bend is horrible....
Golden Corral is always good....plenty of food...the best fresh rolls....

Eat at Golden Corral all over the country. They are quite variable.
One of the best buffets I ever ate at was a GC in eastern KY somewhere. Very good food.
Do NOT go to a GC in Orlando. Atrocious.
