Well, tell ya true, the quitting definitely effected my behavior and moods. Slightly irritable, and that came out in various ways: I was a little more sensitive and jumpy than usual. The good news is I didn't get genuinely crabby. But, I think it seemed like I couldn't take a joke, and that's not normally me.
Y'all know me from the threads. Do I seem like someone averse to joking around? ;)
Might should have not made the decision to quit to coincide with the Texas Shoot. Still, glad I made the decison, even if it might have given a few people bad first impressions.
One thing I stand by: THAT ONE PICTURE OF ME SUCKS.
Aw sweetie! You’re too nice a guy to get really crabby.
If I can quit smoking, then so can you. I smoked a carton a week for twenty years, and I stopped.
One morning you’re going to wake up and get yourself going, only to realize later that you haven’t thought of cigs or had any cravings.
That is the most wonderful feeling in the whole world, and you will experience it again (I know that you already have for other reasons) if you hang tough. You’re going through the worst part now, but it will get easier.
Best wishes, my friend.
....and I'm glad you quit. You weren't THAT crabby, and were even funny. :) When you weren't fussin' about that darn picture! heehee
If you don’t stop whinin’ about that picture like a little girl, Ima get ruthless on yo @ss. So knock it off or you’re gonna get a shipment of big girl panties in the mail.
Right. Now. Dammit.
;p
