The poor kids have barely gone anywhere. hardly anything bought but essentials for them. my biggest splurge has been a shtf box of crayons puzzles art stuff and some matchbox cars. i am pissed. wasnt supposed to be this way. Grnd kids learning gardening canning packing food in mylar bags.

Don't worry about your grandkids too much. Wealth can be the biggest curse of all. Now they are learning the things that are truly important.

Almost 30 years ago, when I was in college, I remember reading that the highest incidence of diabetes was in Kuwait - which at the time has the highest per-capita income.

Watch an episode of "Call of the Wildman" on the Animal Channel, and you'll see what's really needed to be happy. :)
