I don’t see how a pack of dogs viciously attacking another a boar or whatever that is, is somehow a plus. It’s disturbing to me.
Perhaps you should ask the southerners who have to deal with savage wild boar all the time why it’s a “plus”.
Wild hogs will cheerfully *kill* you given the chance.
Those dogs are performing a necessary task.
They are not “viciously attacking it”; they are efficiently and independently hunting it down and killing it for their owner.
The Portuguese hunters -depend- on those dogs to put food on the table.
They are not a wealthy people and are subsistence hunters.
Would you prefer they let their families starve?
If I were to describe “disturbing”, I’d comment on all the maimed, mutilated and butchered for “fun” small animals that were victims of cats.
