But, My Jeep has a 3" suspension lift and is 4WD. If I acted soon enough, I could mow down a crowd and crawl over the bodies, right?

The crowd, of course, seeing a driver that is willing to drive over them, would probably give way a bit right?

It's not all physics - the human factor should be considered. I know this about myself; if it is possible - I'll mow the crowd down. If I'm gonna get my ass whooped anyway, I'm taking some of them down with me.

I don't know either cars or physics, but I think you've hit on the key thing. You just have to "go for it". Most likely, everyone would desperately try to get out of your way. Then you have your chance and you just seize that opportunity. What causes people to lose their opportunity is the little thought that: "I can't run these people over! I might get arrested!!"

If you can really grasp the fact that the mob wants to kill you, and the police aren't gonna do a darn thing, then you can more freely "go for it" and get the heck out of trouble.

Of course, if bodies get trapped underneath the vehicle and your progress is stopped, then you may not have a Plan B -- but failure to execute Plan A would have you in the same spot, right?

True story, my future wife who was driving and I were vacationing in St Croix, we made a wrong turn into a ghetto neighborhood that had only one way in/out. The locals saw their big chance when she u-turned and about 10-12 of them stood in the middle of the street and blocked the road.

My future wife said ruh-ro, down shifted, floored it and aimed for the middle of the group. You wouldn't believe how fast they got out of the way. Mind you this was a little Suzuki Samurai and this was her first day driving stick.

Now you know why I married her. BTW, she's a Psych major and said she knew the would back down.
