Never liked Matt ... Damon ...
Damon is against fracking? I thought he loved getting fracked. Umm, maybe I am thinking of something else
As is CNN.

[[purportedly poisoning rural American towns]]
‘Purportedly? By Whom? Where are the studies? Oh that’s right- ALL the studies showed there is NO poisoning of wells except in very rare accidental cases (which I mgiht point out are far far rarer occurances than farmland accidents which ‘poison’ ecosystems- but since matt damon needs to corn oil to run his eco auto- he won’t tell you those FACTS-
Cripes- can’t actos and actresses just shut the heck up and ‘act’ instead of openiogn hteir CLUELESS aCtivist mouths? We are one of THE cleanest industrialized nation on nearth thansk to the myriad of vast regulations and safety precautions, but that means nothign to these dolts that think an accident or two mean the whole industry must be plagued with problems DESPITE THE FACT that the actual studies done show just hte opposite! These dolts have NO evidence that frackign is indiscriminantly poisoning wells across america, nor do they have ANY evidence proving frackign causes earthquakes, but then again who needs actual evidence when attackign industries that actually helped to create and maintain their careers and vast sums of moneY?
[[A new film starring Matt Damon presents American oil and natural gas producers as money-grubbing villains ]]
But of course matt damon isn’t an overpriveledged money grubbing ‘actor’ right?
Hollywood is experiencing a bad “return” on their investments.
Let’s make it WORSE. Read a book or watch old movies that have moral messages. Put the overpaid “pretenders” on the street. Ahhhhhh...feels good.
Don’t laugh, it can have an effect.
Jane Fonda’s “The China Syndrome” followed a week or so later by Three Mile Island went a long way towards killing new nuclear plants being built.
And, this is a surprise to whom?
Hollywood riff raff and benedict arnold.
Well ain’t that an interesting coinkindink?

This film is a hopeful sign.
The petroleum engineers and others involved in the oil industry in the United Arab Emirates are apparently very concerned with the growing US competitors and are willing to go to extremes such as this film to try and protect their market share.
Matt Damon must be very powerful. I think it is funny that he gets all the credit for this movie when John Krasinski from the Office also co-wrote the movie. I guess when you are an “A” list actor you get all the credit. It is amazing that he went from Good Will Hunting (which I did not like) single and partying to a husband and father of 3 making this movie. Oh well he clearly must be powerful to make such a splash on Free Republic.
