That is a great light, it is a fine upgrade to replace my old (circa 2000) CMG Infinity, single AA, that wasn’t regulated but that would burn for 41 hours, it had one brightness level and that was about 5 lumen. It was a heck of light for it’s day, and is still great for camping and black outs.

Yours not only puts out 120 lumens, but when set on 3 lumens, it will burn for 97 hours straight on a single AA.

I have the Fenix TK35 and Boom! talk about light!

Excellent light for only $100 bucks.

Thing is for only $10 bucks and slightly less output you can buy these:

Buy a couple of these. I have dropped them and used them pretty hard. They work great. No instructions in the box, not as bright my Fenix lights but, those cost over $100 bucks.

These little suckers put out slight less light for 1/10 of the cost:

This is the model “502”. There is a model 501 but I don’t remember which one I bought.

On the headlamps I can’t recall which model I bought. They are in my hiking and bug out bags. I recently had a shoulder operation and don’t feel like lifting them to find the lights.

They are odd, in that the light thrown is square as opposed to round but, hey, for the price I’ll deal with it.

I think I have three of the ones just below but, I’ve posted others. They all have advantages and drawbacks so look at the feedback portion under the product before you decide.

There is a guy who tells you the difference between the 501 and the 502. If you find his feedback go with his suggestion. He was right.

I also have 30 or so batteries for the handhelds. Trust me, they are way hey, hey, hey, cheaper than the 123 types. Those cost almost $8 bucks each and they aren’t rechargeable.

So get extra batteries and chargers. They are super cheap and I have been using them for about 6 months on my nightly 3-5 mile walks.

Almost forgot. This might be out a little out of your budget but give it serious consideration. Especially if you live in a area where power is prone to going out like in a hurricane zone or tornado alley.

You should have a solar backup for recharging if you have a regional SHTF.

When I lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma every year I would lose power due to severe rain, flooding, hail and snow. Same thing when I lived on Delaware.

I have the Goal Zero, two of them so they charge in series and faster.

Here is the company website but you can buy em cheaper on Amazon and sometimes they are cheaper at the local REI

This is the one I have:

I am going to purchase more of their products. Love em.

Carry one of those also.

When you need light, it’s got plenty.

I’m waiting for the technology to improve to get a 500 lumen light down to about the 2L’s size. At 500 lumens, you have a serious deterrent weapon if you light that up in someone’s face.

I hope you did on your wedding night! Unlike me but that’s another story.

I bought one too after listening to a prepper. But the last time I thought *I* was a genius, I realized that the episode of Jeopardy I was watching I had seen before.

How about a serious flashlight? A 860 lumin Phenix, can be found for about $100. This one will light my front yard like a stadium.
