I have iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s and my New iPad, and both work fine. No problems with iMessages. Bluetooth works fine... and voice command is working just like it did before updating.
You have hated Apple products from before.
“You have hated Apple products from before. “
So? That doesn’t mean they aren’t working well.
You have LOVED Apple products from before, so maybe that is the point of your dismissive attitude to try to trivialize Apple problems.
So far, so good on my end. The Mrs. and I both have iPhone 4S and have upgraded. I’m not seeing any issues, and frankly, it doesn’t act or feel much differently at all. Maps is the biggest change, of course, and it still gets me where I’m going, and I do like the turn-by-turn navigation that was added. I haven’t run across any of the glaring bugs that other people have reported with Maps.
I do like VIP notifications, but I haven’t played around with the settings much yet, or the do not disturb feature. I need to do that soon, as I’ll be on travel.
I also upgraded the eldest child’s hand-me-down iPhone 3GS (cell service deactivated — basically being used as a somewhat bulkier iPod Touch 3rd gen, plus camera and microphone) and don’t see any problems there, either.
I won’t beta-test for Apple. The update dot is now active on my settings icon, but I won’t upgrade for at least a couple months more.
Let someone else find all the bugs. I’ll install it after it shakes out a bit.
