Admittedly Sheridan is not far from the state line, but it is in another state. My recollection is that you can't even see Montana from Sheridan (although I have only been through there once and I was headed in the other direction). Actually it could be quite dangerous to try to deliver to Sheridan. George Armstrong Custer was just trying to deliver some ice cream from Billings to Sheridan when he was set upon by the Sioux Indians. (Of course that is scrubbed from the books for politically correct reasons in order to make Custer look bad.)

Sheridan residents do a lot of business in Montana. If you want to do major shopping, odds are you’ll have to be driving 90+ minutes to Billings.
