Venison is good. As long as the meat is good whats wrong? Its not like it was a 4 day old cat or opossum scraped up off the road.
Thats reserved for the Saturday buffet.

After eating breakfast this A.M., am missing a lizard that was in the house. Maybe the restaurant has him or has already served him up.

I don’t see what the problem was...really.
Thing was dead, it’s now food for me or the bugs.
Let me salt and pepper the thing or flavor is with whatever rub and herbs I choose.
Seems stupid to waste the thing.
Or let me cook it up and give it to the homeless. Seems like a reasonable use of my time and someone goes to bed on a full stomach.

It would do a lot of folks some good to have to kill and cut up their own food. Black powder season opened last week and I welcomed the waste that the big horn shooters didnt want. There is no better meat than grain fed venison
I would have to pass on the road kill cafe unless I witnessed the impact. But even that depends on how hungry I am.

Always order shrimp... No matter how you prep a cat, dog or deer you can’t make it look like a shrimp!!

My guy loves Chinese food but will not eat at Chinese resturants. We learned to fix his favorite dishes at home.
That’s because he’s diversified and been exposed to the Chinese food culture via healthcare activities that would see nothing wrong with using roadkill in an American resturant. It’s totally foreign but Americans have not a clue of what he has seen. We don’t buy any food from China...eh, Walmart and most frozen foods are out. Same with India. All ethics are not the same. When your food culture comes from the need to fill the bellies of starving and poor billions, it’s not the same. This is a major problem of globalization’s dive to the lowest common denominator. We grow must of our own vegtables. The foreign pesticides and growing conditions would curl your hair.
What you don’t know, will hurt ya. Learn to cook from scratch and learn to pick your products...not only by price but source. Grow your own veggies from seeds you trust.

Nothing wrong with road killed deer. I have a friend in New Mexico who has a permit from the NM game warden to harvest road kill.

In Connecticut, if you hit a deer and it dies or a responding officer dispatches it, you can keep the carcass. I know only one person who has actually done this but I see nomproblem with it.
