What a shame....her life started out in such a positive way
These types of stories should not be written. Its published to sell some papers off of Moran’s misfortune. The paper should be ashamed of itself.
Her TV brother “Chuck” is even less visible.
Sad to hear. It seems to happen to an awful lot of TV and movie actors.
I do remember an interview in which she said she an the guy who played Chachi were having sex on a regular basis. I think even on the set, I guess in some private place.
Don't know what kind of money we're talking about, but it is going to last a lot longer making payments on a trailer than bouncing from hotel room to hotel room.
At some point, one would think she would tell herself 'I need a new career' and act accordingly.
Isn’t Ron Howard a multi-millionnaire? Couldn’t that libtard purchase a double-wide for his former Happy Days actress? Oh wait I forgot... libtards are only charitable with other people’s money.
Dang. She’s my age. I must be looking in the mirror with rose colored glasses...
I hope God blesses her needs. A roof, then Nicoderm and moisturizer would be good.
She could star in Crappy Days.
A sad story. I hope that the story about the drinking problem is not true. If it is, I hope that she can conquer it.
I'd wager that she probably didn't even make $1000/week...then agents/publicists take a big chunk, and as a minor, he parents probably took, and spent, whatever was left..
She had no career to speak of after the series ended..and she never got a piece of the royalties...the renewals everytime a program airs in syndication/reruns..that's where the REAL $$$ is..
Despite these tough times, pals admire Morans dedication to her sick mother-in-law. She and Steve moved in with his ailing mother at the trailer park a few weeks back. Erin is like an angel to her mother-in-law. She cooks and cleans for her and takes care of her personal hygiene, the family pal observed...
So what accounts for the massive inequality among former actors playing Cunningham children? If you said “obviously, discrimination” go to the head of the liberal class!
I have zero sympathy just based on this....boy she has not aged well.
Damn, that’s sad....
"The aging actress and three of her Happy Days co-stars, Don Most, Anson Williams and Marion Ross, plus the estate of Tom Bosley, who died in 2010, filed a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS, which owns the show.
"The suit claimed that cast members had not been paid for merchandising revenues owed under their contracts.
In July 2012, the actors settled their lawsuit with CBS. Each received a payment of $65,000 and a promise by CBS to continue honoring the terms of their contracts."
It's hard to believe that $65,000 could dwindle to destitution in just 3 months.
Hollywood is particularly harsh on most women and children. Few have much staying power and they realize a lot of the money and residuals don’t go to them but to hidden others.
Some wind up on the “mommy track” or become the husbands of ne’er-do-well bad boys but few find happiness once the spot lights dim.
Just another victim of the Obama economy.
Back in the Eisenhower years Joanie Cunningham lived an idyllic life in middle upper class suburban Milwaukee in a large house.
And today under the Obama regime little collegiate Joanie Cunningham and her highly educated live in boyfriend cannot even pay the rent at the local trailer park.
Even Potsy has fallen on hard times was last seen on Milwaukee’s skid row.
Anson Williams kicked me off his Facebook page for daring to disagree with him about gay marriage. Potsy was nasty and called me names...I asked him how was his acting career, if he had enough time to put down his mop and answer me.
