Folks, Obama and Romney are eating off the same menu (although Romney changes his diet from election to election).
Virgil Goode is the only acceptable candidate running, IMHO.
He just admitted he is voting for Obama.
No I didn't. Publik-skool gradooet, are you?
Yeah, that's what it'll do.
The more people cast an I'm-not-the-GOPe's-b!tch vote, the better that stage will be set.
Rainbow rapture in the retard room soon to follow.
Aren't you better than that? Wouldn't you like to at least try to be?
No, voting for a third party means no one pays attention to you.
So FReepers should just take your word for that? Or would you perhaps like to offer some reason anyone should believe that?
If by setting the stage you mean allowing Obama to win, I guess you're right.
Personally, I'm not that fond of him. Your mileage may vary.
I think Jim Robinson had it right in calling Romney a "liberal progressive abortion/homosexual pushing Republican." Your mileage may vary.
You guys always bring that JimRob quote up, but conveniently forget the later one where he says, (and Im paraphrasing), that to unseat Zero, theres only one choice we really have.
I don't buy that paraphrase. And it doesn't contradict his earlier quote anyway.
So you would prefer “sending a message” to defeating Obama.
Brilliant.
Yeah, that's what it'll do.
The more people cast an I'm-not-the-GOPe's-b!tch vote, the better that stage will be set.

Which part of "2016" did you not understand?
ADD? I already told you, "If my single vote was the difference between re-electing 0bama or not, I'd vote for Mittens. Since it's not, I think my vote is better used in setting the stage for 2016, 2020, ... "
What makes you think ther will be a 2016 if Zero gets back in, hmmm?
Your naivete’ is unbelievable.
Nope. That position does not require atheism. On the contrary:
If there is a God who is eternal, then the consequences for following or not following standards set by that god are also eternal, unlike the consequences for basing a decision on temporal reasons.
A believer who sees that a vote for Virgil furthers the power of those adamantly use their power to who oppose God will not vote for Virgil.
And,since a vote for Virgil plainly furthers greater violations of the laws of God, those who believe it's Godly to vote for Virgil are exhibiting dumbness.
Better?
About as much as McCain's defeat set the stage for 2012. As much as voting for Perot in 1992 set the stage for Dole's nomination and Clinton's re-election in1996
Define your terms; unless Zero causes a universal spacetime singularity ("Big Crunch") between now and then, there will be such a time as 2016.
Your naivete is unbelievable.
So enlighten me - isn't that what FR is for?
About as much as McCain's defeat set the stage for 2012. As much as voting for Perot in 1992 set the stage for Dole's nomination
Are you saying McLame and Herbie lost because not enough conservatives drank the GOPe Kool-Aid? I thought it was because they sucked.
“If, on the other hand, your conservative vote is trapped by circumstances deep inside a state already lost to the Dark Side, like California, then you’re already getting a taste of what’s coming, and prepared or not, the outcome of the presidential portion of this election is probably not going to be decided by your vote. Goode Luck!”
I can go along with this reasoning if you are in a state like California, where there is ZERO chance to beat Obama. But even if you’re in a state like Pennsylvania or Michigan where there’s even a small chance that Romney may pull it out, I would NOT waste my vote this time around.
To your other point about Romney buying us some more time and giving us the satisfaction of ousting Obama, you may very well be right. That may be all we get out of a Romney win. But the way I see it, at least with Romney we still have a shot at saving the American dream. It may be a slim one, but America has overcome enormous challenges in the past, and we are a very resourceful and resilient people, so I wouldn’t count us out quite yet...
Hey man, if you wanna be a Christian-hater, this isn’t a great site to do it. The same goes for making threats.
Sticks and stones bro.
“I have no respect for a theocratic idiot who thinks America should be punished by God.
Youre now sounding like as much of a lunatic as your buddy here.”
Do you think a just God will sit idly by while we condone profane sexual acts and mass murder of millions of unborn babies?
I realize you hate the idea of God. Maybe the Daily Kos is a better fit for you.
Get off it, pal. If you bothered to read you’d know I’m Catholic.
The One TRUE Church.
“Why? Is God speaking to you again?
people who used to hear voices in their heads were put in a rubber room in a straight-jacket where they belong.”
“What Id really like to say to you two would get me banned and what Id really like to do to you two would get me arrested.
Goodebot Trolls”
“I guess youre another sanctimonious evangelical who thinks theyre always right because God speaks directly to them”
You’re nothing but a bully behind a keyboard, Pal-patine. It’s amazing Jim tolerates you.
“the future of America is in the balance and you trying to be funny isnt helpful. try it someplace else.”
Trying? NO sir. It just comes naturally.
“You are not destroying any libs by voting for obama.”
You think the libs will be too disappointed when pro-abortion, pro-gun-control, pro-tax-hiking, pro-universal healthcare Romney steps in?
Think again.
