Folks, Obama and Romney are eating off the same menu (although Romney changes his diet from election to election).
Virgil Goode is the only acceptable candidate running, IMHO.

You say that I'm
criticizing those who dont vote as you think they should.
I have consistently reiterated throughout my replies that I (and every American citizen) have a right and duty to vote, and a freedom to choose the candidate that I think is best for our country. So hopefully the discussion will help others to exercise that same right, duty and freedom and not feel constrained simply to vote for one of 2 candidates. They are free (and I respect this freedom) to vote for Obama or Romney; but why should they be constrained to? May God help our beloved country!

You're campaigning here for Virgil.

"FIRE Obama."
"HIRE Romney."
"America SAVED."
"Film at 11."
America Saved? If only it were so. Romney certainly seems less evil than Obama. Maybe even quite a bit more than a dime's difference there.
But Romney is not going to save us from what we have already allowed to progress way too far to escape the consequences of.
The consequences already due and payable will include some combination of severe global economic malaise, social upheaval, out of control government(s), inexorable inflation, war, or worse, all of that and more.
Ironically, we are already well past the point where additional delay of "taking the medicine" and fixing the problems will make the ultimate payments and and pain of of those coming consequences even greater. It's becoming clear to some, that the Ryan plan isn't even half of what would be necessary to stop what's coming economically at this point... The (more than economic) train wreck is coming regardless, and the best plan on the table only slows the rate at which we and the world are adding additional locomotives.
If you're not already preparing, you may all too soon wish you had been.
If your vote is going to be counted in a state where it might help Romney get some Electoral College votes, and you hope to buy a few more years preparation time by collecting whatever 10 to 80 cents worth of difference exist between Romney and Obama, then a vote for Romney may get you at least the satisfaction of seeing Obama out of power and possibly buy a little time.
Of course, Obama and the Left will never relinquish their "Get Out of Responsibility, Free" card...
If, on the other hand, your conservative vote is trapped by circumstances deep inside a state already lost to the Dark Side, like California, then you're already getting a taste of what's coming, and prepared or not, the outcome of the presidential portion of this election is probably not going to be decided by your vote. Goode Luck!
Somebody, somewhere, should be clearly voting against where we are headed, and not just over how fast we're going to get there. It might as well be cries heard from the wilderness already overrun by the Dark Side, since our collective choices have already tied us to the tracks.

You and I live in the same state. I have very little use for Romney-—my posting history supports that. I didn’t plan to vote for him, either.
But these last couple of weeks have been terrifying, as far as I’m concerned. The poisonous, Muslim-sucking traitor in the White House is mortally dangerous to us all. If he’s re-elected, I’m afraid the Muslims will find a way to hit us with a nuke.
I’ve had to change my mind and come to the realization that voting for Romney is necessary. Take a look at those pics of Ambassador Stevens being dragged through the street. Obama and his people knew it was going to happen and didn’t care. Obama went to sleep when he was told about it. Stevens was hardly cold when Obama went bopping to Vegas for a fundraiser with his homies.
I’m under no illusions about Romney, believe me. But Obama has to go.

I’ve had to undergo the same awful decision.
I keep feeling like some how were all being punked or played... That Obama’s actually acting even more a psychotic fool because someone behind the scenes wants this to be a decisive election for a supposed “conservative”...but it’s like a child being held hostage, exactly what choice is there? The GOP assassinated politically every conservative choice we had, Obama’s playing a psychotic sociopath on the world stage, it’s like we’re all cows being forced up a chute into the back of a meat packing factory.
After November, the GOP is dead to me... and I go on preparing as if these are the last days of Pompeii.

He has no chance, and essentially you’re voting for 0bama.
Purist idiots like yourself would rather see this country be destroyed instead of compromise your “principles”. Either that or your some evangelical who believes in the crackpot idea that America must be “taught a lesson” like Old Testament Jews were.
People like you will be to blame if Zero wins in November.
BTW, Goode is really a Democrat.
