The regular refs inspire plenty of outrage, but the replacements are a complete and utter joke. Goodell is an idiot to have allowed this travesty to go on so long. The bad refs are affecting the outcomes of games, confusing players and coaches, and getting players hurt.

This never should have been allowed to happen, and it must be ended as soon as possible.

It says a lot about our country when there is more national outrage regarding football than there is about the middle east, our national debt and the appalling (real) unemployment rate.

I can’t wait for the first blown call by the union refs (85% chance that call will benefit the Steelers or the Patriots) and the media excuse-making that will happen for their union buddies.

The problem is that there is not much of a way to compromise. It’s not like one side wants a 3% raise and the other wants 5%. The ref are either going to get a defined benefits plan or not.
