There was a strange bright object handing in the sky over Albuquerque on Saturday evening, around 7:00pm. The VERY quickly disseminated story was that it was a high altitude weather balloon. It was stationary for the over 15 minutes I watched it. Since they test all sorts of stuff out here I thought the story was a little fishy. Do weather balloon hang motionless in the sky for long periods of time?
Weather balloons, tethered together and to the ground station.
It’s a ballon. That’s what they do.
A REAL UFO is a object that defies known operational envelope.
A ballon can float motionless, can appear bright from the reflected sun.
This does NOT mean I don’t believe in UFOs.
The question about a UFO is what is the source of the craft?
Keep in mind the SR-71A was a well kept secret for 30 years. It had characteristics (and appearances) and flight capability that would surely have seemed like alien technology in 1964.
So, there ARE UFOs, they belong to US.
If there were a real alien, who could traverse the universe, the only craft of his we would see would be the on he visits the zoo in, because we would be so far behind them we would be considered basically not interesting.....
Why are we so vain as to think any other intelligence would beat a path to our door?
Ask George Noory.

So? Albuquerque has the Balloon festival there every year! Maybe someone checking out their airborne gas bag.
You have possibly witnessed a visit by entites not of this world, and there is no need for consensus on what you saw.
I don’t think we should dismiss the existence of aliens. They definitely have much higher intelligence than we do. Look no further than their transportation: undetectable by any of our equipment, coming into our dimension with ease and in complete silence. Compare that to the efforts and massive rockets we had to employ in order to reach other planets.
But no need to worry, they are all from God and mean us no harm.
Sorry, meant to say even the aliens are under the dominion of God. Not that they are necessarily sent directly by God.
LOL! Why be so quick to ridicule when you can waste 47 minutes getting ready to ridicule?
Just looked like a bright dot on my camera phone. While it wasn’t perfectly circular, it was a kind of flat oval. Just bright white.
Sorry, iPad keyboard + aggressive spell check - reading glasses = stupid typos!
Yep, that’s it.
A friend who works for the AFRL told me before I could finish asking that it was a weather balloon. With a funny smile on his face.
I think it was us testing something.
Uh, yeah. That’s EXACTLY what weather balloons do.
I don’t know what to think of these supposedly ufo sightings.
Many photos I’ve seen look like a “bright white” object too. I guess a camera phone can’t capture things clearly from such a distance.
A Japanese friend, who is very sane & sober, told me once that she along with a number of people while sitting in a restaurant in Osaka Japan, all saw two objects in the sky moving very quickly across the sky, then suddenly stopping motionless mid-air, and then making extraordinarily rapid vertical moves (straight up & down) unlike anything that a balloon or an airplane, we generally know of, can make, and then suddenly disappearing. Completely silent, no engine sound...So, don’t know...
I suppose in many cases, there is a ‘logical’ explanation, e.g. weather balloons, fabricated stories/hoaxes, or some other phenomenon..
Alien craft have been known to mimic the appearance of weather balloons

Did it look like this?
That isn’t ‘my site’. I watched the interview and found the interviewee compelling. Watching the man while being interviewed, I saw no signs of deceptiuon/deceptive behavior. Have you ever studied the meta communication of lying? The man being interviewed was not lying, he was telling what he believes is the truth of what he witnessed at five years old. I happen to remember things from when I was two, so five is not that impossible, especially when the experience was so dramatic ...
