McClatchy newspapers have been aggressively Democrat for years, spectacularly anti-Bush in particular. a fish rots from the head.
Thanks for posting this. He is chairman of the board of a huge chain of newspapers that influences political thought and discussion in our country. Free Republic is a conservative posting board that opposes the homosexual agenda. Not sure why people are giving you a hard time for posting this. Its important to know the bias of those who control the information.

I can’ttell the entire story but many FReepers know I have worked in Pittsburgh radio/news for nearly 30 years. At one point a VERY good gal friend of mine was working for KQV and caught McKlatchy’s eye.
He asked out on a date...took her to several trendy places in the Strip for those of yunz here. She anguished over what to wear. Now I had heard stories but she didn’t believe them. Since her bioclock was getting ready to ring I advised her to....umm...put her goods on display.
She wouldn’t but it didn’t matter.she complained to me that Kev didn’t really pay much attention to her, instead haning with, well limp wrists.
She was devastated. Later she linked up with another, nice lookin, clean shaven guy, noted producer at a major TV station. Invested years of her life.
He turned out gay.
So even though she was and still is a hot blonde (PICKY) hottie, she’s never been married and never been...kissed.
